Chocolate Marquee

Had the cookie cutters out and I couldn't resist molding the
chocolate marquee to top this cake off.

January

We don't usually get too cold here in Florida,
but in recent weeks we've had temps in the 20's and teens.
We got winter without the snow so I decided
to make some of my own to celebrate January.

Leftover Candy Canes - No Problem.

What to do with all the candy canes left over from Christmas?

After your kids have eaten enough to get a dozen cavities,
you bake them into a luscious chocolate bundt cake and top that off with even more.

It's a great way to end December.

Cool, minty & Chocolate. Yum!!

Sandcastle

Life can be a beach, especially when you are 3 and you have a beachy birthday theme.
This 3 layered sandcastle was a special request by the birthday girl.
Who knew it would be so much fun to eat sand?

Hand Painted Logo

For Adventurer Sabbath 2007 I had to paint the color unto the logo since the color didn't work out on the food safe paper. The cake was half and half chocolate & vanilla poured into one pan so they made a marble cake in the center.

Table decor was simple - tall vases with ivory roses and burgundy ribbon and wrapped utensils with a custom band.

Prayer bears were presented to the Adventurers for all their hard work. Each bear had a custom printed ribbon to commemorate the day.

Football Anyone

I had fun making this guy for our Superbowl Party. He's a pull apart cupcake base with buttercream frosting.

I didn't go with any of the team colors because it didn't matter to me who won or lost.

It will be fun working up additional characters on this base. Lesson learned - brush up on making faces!
